A chronological overview of the Museum's distinguished collection of European paintings from the 13th through the 18th century.

From Fra Angelico to Francisco de Zurbaran, the European Paintings galleries present a virtual alphabet of outstanding pictures spanning 500 years. A guided tour of the galleries typically includes a selection of portrait, narrative, and landscape paintings chosen among Italian, Flemish, Dutch, German, Spanish, English, or French masters.
